With zero knowledge of filmmaking, Kim felt inspired to include two film trailers in her design undergraduate thesis. Every single person volunteered their time and effort to make it real - and Kim's film journey began.
The summer of 2011 was filled with filming. With her great grandfather's shotgun in tow, Kim filmed in her hometown of Holladay, Utah. Friends, family and neighbors all volunteered their time to make this project happen.
Feeling it was important to have experience directing children, Kim gathered every kid she ever babysat, borrowed her neighbor's dog and created this short film celebrating the classic childhood game of Kick the Can.
